I am not sure if this is the right topic for this but, just before going to mission 4 )which has a wonderful and probably inadvertant homage to John carpenter in sybex´s offical strategy guide, &quot;escape from new york&quot; <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ) I decided to go collect the wrecks in liberty because I know I can get nearly as much for the various guns as I could for the cardamine I was missing out on due to a small hold size. first problem, there was no cardamine in the balboa, in un modded frelancer there is second, the 2 wrecks northeast and northwest of unity in florida seem to be not there. they should be there because datastorm tells me that they are, but I couldn´t find them. and before you ask, I didn´t even go near the one near the rogue base in florida <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> those rogues in florida kick my ass too much for that. oh also, normally just before taking off from manhattan to get to mission 4 I can usually restock my nanobots and sheild batteries, but this time I am told I must be on friendlier terms <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> so I am going into several tough battles with 8 nanos and 1 shield bat <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> <img src=smilies/icon_smile_dead.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

dude, love the mod. couple of bugs though. first, and most distressing for me, is that there are no patrol routes for good, bad or nuetral in new systems. hard to find new rogue bases or jump holes without them. second, had the same problem as reported with walker fight. than later i seemed to skip some dialog during the bounty hunter/hacker fight, and could not dock at hacker base. and who turned up the difficulty rating on the zenots,by the way?!! oh, patrol 93 by buffalo base is missing.also 2 out of 3 wrecks in florida are missing, but i did find the one by the rouge base. on a good note, i´ve had a lot of fun in florida, i´ll send you a post card. lol wywh! i could be wrong, it certainly would´nt be the first time! lol - erm, okay - in case you hadn´t noticed..... Some wrecks loots were altered to change things a bit (don´t worry, there is ALOT better loot), and secondly................remember space is 3 dimensional. When you go looking for those wrecks, and don´t find it where it should be.........its time to go up or down <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> I will be playing SP myself before the next release, so i will give it a testing to make sure its playable <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Thanks for bringing it up again - need it fresh in my mind or it will slip it <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

dude, i´m still in florida and in between the mia-tias and pino coladas i thought i´d drop you a line on some more stuff i found. first, the comodities for the entire system do not show up on the comodities list anywhere. this is a pain, since you have to keep hand written notes on what sells where for how much. second, the computer is getting its but kicked too fast in the battle with walker. the fighters are out of it before the gunboats arrive, so the game hangs up there.third, 10 million for a ship?!!!! why put cool ships out to tease us if you can´t possibly afford them, or worse you can´t level up to them before you have to leave liberty? that is so un-cool ,dude. forth,docking at unity station sticks sometimes,( a dead give-a-way is when the computer voice does not say the dock number). the strut by dock 2 at orlando shipyard is not attached if you fly over the top of it. then when you dock inside, your ship(i´m using a liberty freighter,piece of crap) is half inside the armored transport thats parked there. oh, i found patrol 93 and 1 of the suposed missing wrecks in florida. who would have guessed that space is 3 dementional? lol working on my tan is exausting, captian gars i could be wrong, it certainly would´nt be the first time! i could be wrong, it certainly would´nt be the first time!

I have fixed the problem of bases not showing up at all, and will check the other stuff again - thanks. There are many ways of making money in the mod, and in 1.28 it will be different yet again (with more emphasis on fighting making money).

A money scam: OK, fine, so there´s a little cheating with the character editor. I made it to New Berlin with some BH ships waxing my ass along the way, I sold almost all my stuff for your new Disruptor Gun which says it can bring down the powerplant, in turn stopping the ship, I tested it againt those BH ships, I ended up pressing the eject button, picked up by a group of Zoners (99.999% unlikely) and rammed the planet because of stupidity. Unfort it that gun won´t drain off the thruster power, which the NPC´s use to manouvre if you shoot them with it. However, you should be able to stop someone cruising with it...

About as minor as it gets, but the used Banshee you can buy has the same specs as the new Banshee (shot myself in the foot with <i>that </i> one, didn´t I?). Also, logically, how come the used Banshee holds 40 nano and 17 shield and has 15 cargo space, while the unused holds 33 nano and 33 shield and has 10 cargo space? Yet more minor, but maybe also more annoying is that the Florida system doesn´t follow naming conventions. For example, when you land on a planet (or anything), it says Florida System System, and the Jump Gate should say Florida Jump Gate (can´t remember what it actually says, I think Florida System). I´ve had a crash or two of the server, but I´m pretty sure that´s my machine. On the whole it´s been pretty decent to me.

The cruise starting sound for the Liberator is rather strange (normal starting sounds take 5 seconds) and the gunboat engine is faster than the Liberator´s engine. PS. Let´s seeeeeee.......... The aspect of the Evo mod is to make the game interesting by adding new ships and equipment and making the AI harder. Certain equipment (like capship weapons) have been fueled up too. So, my prob is.... I can´t get past Mission 7<img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> because either the improved AI or the capship weapons is killing me! They are not supposed to, you have to dock with a mooring fixture, (thats the long bar above some docking rings on planets) or a station that allows large ships to moore. the whole dang mod wont work for me o.O ive tried just about everything to get it to work but nothing..the game starts up...shows the &quot;freelancer&quot; loading screen then suddenly closes down the game (though it remains on the task bar for several seconds before declaring it must shut down) -_- I wanna play this..AND the fly all ships mod from the Pathfinder website..which does the same thing..its driving me nuts!
